   We make efforts to maintain pharmaceutical sanitation through the authorization and supervision of pharmacies and medical supply vendors.

 The inspections, including spot checks on inventory management, are conducted by specially-trained inspectors.

 The targeted items are comprehensive, including not only poisonous, toxic, or hyperenergetic substances, but also regular medicines for therapeutic use. That is why the trigger for drug abuse falls under improper or illegal usage of medicine that deviates from the medicine’s original purpose.

 In addition, we run an annual anti-drug abuse awareness crusade as part of our public relations, called the "Dame Zettai Undo," from June 20 until July 19 across Japan.
